Mondo Grass (Ophiopogon japonicus) - 8cm Pot

Dwarf Mondo Grass, also known as Ophiopogen Japonicus Nana, is a compact, low-growing cultivar of the evergreen perennial Ophiopogen Japonicus. Its dense mat-like form makes it a popular alternative to traditional turf and a favored choice for lining pathways and flower beds in Japanese gardens.

This eye-catching, grass-like plant hails from Asia and boasts arching, dark green leaves that retain their color throughout the year. In late summer, delicate lilac flowers appear on tall spikes, eventually followed by shiny blue-black berries that create a stunning contrast against the green foliage. This plant is resilient and requires minimal care, thriving in well-drained soil and tolerating full sun or partial shade. It is also resistant to pests and diseases, and does not require pruning to maintain its attractive mound shape. In mild climates, it will continue to showcase its glossy green appearance.

Offshore/ Remote UK Delivery:
