What do I need for a leopard gecko vivarium set up? 

For a leopard gecko vivarium starter kit, you'll need a water bowl, a basking lamp controlled by a dimming thermostat, T5 UVB lighting, and calcium dust to support their health. Ensure the leopard gecko setup includes hides, a heat mat, and a proper substrate to create a comfortable environment for your gecko.

What size vivarium is ideal for a leopard gecko? 

A 3-foot vivarium is suitable for an adult leopard gecko, providing enough space for hides, decor, and temperature gradients.

What temperature should a leopard gecko vivarium be? 

Maintain a basking spot temperature of 30–32°C (86–89°F) at one end and a cool end of around 22–24°C (71–75°F) to ensure proper thermoregulation. You can use a digital thermometer on either side to make sure the vivarium is at the correct temperature. At night, a temperature drop is required in order to mimic the conditions of the gecko’s natural habitat.
