Exotics Keeper magazine is a wonderful publication covering a wide range of topics within the exotic pet hobby. Supplemented with thorough interviews and investigations with leading figures in herpetology.

In this issue:

Jamie Gilks at Crocodiles of the World discusses the keeping and breeding of the world’s smallest “true” crocodiles.

Are Yemen chameleons suitable for beginners? Exotics Specialist, Dr. Michaela Betts shares valuable information on the health concerns of these personable lizards.

We revisit the “Lazarus Taxon”. These reptiles seemingly “disappeared” for centuries only to be rediscovered recently. Check out our new list of curious cases from the natural world.

Gary Miller, Head of Zoo at Sparsholt College may be responsible for breeding the first ever Japanese flying frogs in the UK. He talks us through the unusual process.

Corn snakes draw our attention this month. From interviews with expert morph breeders to a breakdown of scientific literature and anecdotal evidence, we discuss how these popular reptiles should be kept.

Keeper Basics looks at “Next-Level Keeping” – a list of creative tips and tricks that are used in zoological collections and can be implemented by private keepers to provide new enrichment techniques.

Plus: Exotics News, Species Spotlights, Fascinating Facts and more!
