The current ProRep range includes several practical sizes:
That gives you a compact footprint for smaller species, plus roomier formats for animals that need extra floor space or height. Whether you’re setting up for smaller reptiles or planning a more spacious home for larger pets, availability can vary, so it’s worth checking what’s currently in stock before you place an order.
Some of the standout design points in the ProRep range include:
These vivariums suit a wide range of reptiles, depending on the size you choose and the heating/lighting setup you build around it. Smaller sizes can work well for compact terrestrial species such as leopard geckos, African fat-tailed geckos, or Kenyan sand boas.
While the larger formats are ideal for reptiles that need more floor space, such as bearded dragons, blue-tongued skinks, or corn snakes. As always, the right choice comes down to the species’ adult size, heating needs, and ventilation requirements rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
ProRep Flatpack Vivariums are still wooden vivariums, but they differ from many traditional styles in a few useful ways.
Their aluminium corner posts reduce the need for bulky front supports, which improves the view into the enclosure, while the lighter side panels help keep overall weight down.
In other words, they still deliver the insulation and look many keepers want from wooden vivariums, but with a more modern, visibility-focused design.
Yes, they're a good option for first-time keepers. The assembly is straightforward, the cable management keeps the setup tidy, and the sliding glass doors make daily access simple.
The ProRep range is easy to assemble. As an approximate guide, allow 30–60 minutes to build a ProRep flatpack vivarium, depending on the size and whether it’s your first one. It’s a straightforward job overall, but larger sizes may take a little longer to line up and secure neatly.
For an adult bearded dragon, the 120 x 59 x 59 cm is most suited from the ProRep range.
They use solid panels and sliding glass doors rather than mesh sides, so they will generally retain humidity better than a fully mesh enclosure, while still using side vents to support airflow. That makes them a practical option for many species, provided the rest of the setup is matched correctly to the animal’s needs.
