Tarantulas are easy to care for and won't require much space.
Tarantulas are a range of large arachnids often kept by enthusiasts. Due to the massive range of tarantulas available and how easy they are to care for they are becoming a popular exotic pet. Many people will start with a large terrestrial tarantula like the Mexican Red Knee or Salmon Pink then branch out to slightly more difficult species.
The large terrestrial species tend to be slower moving and slightly freindlier than the arboreal secies so can often be a good introduction to tarantula care. Arboreal species while feistier and faster are generally much more active and colourful.
They have a weekly diet of livefoods such as crickets and require fresh water. They inhabit many regions throughout the world so the temperature, humidity and general layout of a tarantulas enclosure will vary depending on the species. Most tarantulas inhabit a glass enclosure with wooden decoration and a soil or bark based substrate
