Fruit Beetle Grubs as Reptile Food

Our fruit beetle grubs are a great treat in a reptile or amphibians diet. They are very high in protein, quite high in fat and make a hearty treat so we would recommend them once maybe twice a week in addition to the main insect diet. Our fruit beetle grubs are dispatched direct from the breeder and will be gut loaded before packing to make sure that they are as nutritious as possible on arrival.

Fruit beetle grubs are the perfect size for large geckos, amphibians, water dragons, fish, bearded dragons and monitor lizards. In store we use them as an occasional treat with the Yemen chameleons, pacman frogs and bearded dragons.

This product will be delivered in a plastic container including a soil based substrate. Small airholes perforate the side at regular intervals to provide maximum ventilation with minimal chance of escape. The soil inside provides some cover and insulation in transit. During the summer months the outer cardboard box may also include perforations to keep them cool while in colder months we may include a plain white heatpack.

Dispatch Information

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.

Orders placed before 12pm will be dispatched that day

Frozen food will not be dispatched on a Friday unless Saturday delivery is specified.

Mainland UK - next day courier with pre-1pm or pre-6pm delivery services (excludes some Scottish postal codes).
